The FLOX® burner REGEMAT® 350 is a self-contained functional unit that eliminates the need for burner pairs commonly seen with regenerator burners. All switching mechanisms are integrated within the compact unit, allowing each burner to operate independently. With an operating range of up to 1,250 °C, the REGEMAT® 350 is ideal for directly heating high-temperature processes like forging furnaces.
Thanks to its high air preheating, the burner achieves maximum energy efficiency and remarkably low NOx emissions due to "FLOX® inside". Additionally, this burner is already prepared for "Green Gas Ready" applications.
The LUVOMAT® burner can also be utilized in situations where preheated air is already available externally, but the FLOX® combustion process is still required. This scenario may arise when the furnace atmosphere does not allow for the operation of recuperator or regenerative burners, such as in substoichiometric operation or in dusty and aggressive furnace atmospheres.
Currently, LUVOMAT® burners have been implemented with a thermal output of approximately 1 MW, but higher outputs are theoretically possible.
Due to the frequently specified external boundary conditions, the requirements for LUVOMAT® burners vary significantly. Therefore, a detailed burner design is always conducted in close coordination with the customer.
